Up Near the Roof All Our Thoughts Are Clear
Where the white wall stares at us. Lives the carpenter’s work. Fitting and measuring created constructions. Geometric. Vertical, horizontal, diagonal. Spiraling too. Beyond the wall, beyond the gaze. Above the heads. Behind back. Next to shoulder. Above arm. Under feet. There is still so much space. There. Imagine.
Collaborating is starting somewhere; together going out and then along the way some silence and pointing and grinning to finding some words and then carving a common path, creeping sneak through hatches and stairs and attic windows and then that’s the work. It has already taken place. This is what we encountered.
